What are pigments for nails?

I. Mixing and precautions

  1. Preparation of materials

Materials to be prepared: nail polish, pigment, small box, stirring rod, etc. Among them, pigments can be used based on personal preferences. Non-turbid pigments should be used.

  1. Mixing of nail polish and pigment

Put nail polish into the small box. Then, add an appropriate amount of pigment (about 1/3 of nail polish). Fully mix them with the stirring rod.

  1. Color adjustment

In case of nonconformity of color, add an appropriate amount of pigment in other colors.

  1. Use of nail polish and pigment mixture

Apply the mixture of nail polish and pigment on nails. Wait until it becomes dry. Use clear nail polish to last longer.

II. Mixing of common pigments and nail polish

  1. Mixing with metal powder: nails can be made bright with mixture of nail polish and metal powder. This is a common method. After mixing with metal powder, nail polish will have better effects.
  2. Mixing with pigment: the color of nail polish can be changed by mixing with pigment, so that nails are made more beautiful. Common nail polish colors include red, blue, green, yellow, etc.
  3. Mixing with glow-in-the-dark powder: the nail polish containing glow-in-the-dark powder will glow like sparkles in the dark. It is very suitable for night parties.

  1. Glitter/pearlescent powder:

– Prepare an appropriate amount of pearlescent powder as needed.

– Apply primer and colored nail polish on nails and wait until it becomes dry.

– Gently apply an appropriate amount of pearlescent powder on nails with a nail brush, puff or other brushes.

– Pearlescent powder can be used alone or mixed with other manicure materials.

  1. Scrub powder:

– Apply an appropriate amount of primer on nails, and wait until it becomes dry.

– Apply scrub powder evenly on nails with a nail brush or cotton ball. Several layers of scrub powder can be applied as needed.

– Scrub powder has a matte sense on nails. It can also be mixed with other manicure materials.

  1. Color powder:

– Prepare an appropriate amount of color powder. Different colors can be made as needed.

– Apply primer and colored nail polish on nails and wait until the polish is slightly dry.

– Apply color powder evenly on nails with a nail brush or cotton ball. Several layers of scrub powder can be applied as needed.

– Color powder can be used alone or mixed with other manicure materials.

  1. Gradient color powder:

– Prepare an appropriate amount of gradient color powder. Different colors can be made as needed.
