Precautions for the use of fluorescent color powder:
- Due to its poor light resistance, fluorescent color powder is not suitable for long-term outdoor application. So, it is not a good choice for outdoor screen printing.
- Fluorescent pigment is a mixture of fluorescent dye and synthetic resin, with 3-5 μm particle size. Fluorescent ink for screen printing is suitable for printing on papers and vinyl films. There are two types of fluorescent ink for paper printing: oxidative drying and evaporative drying.
- Fluorescent ink is suitable for screens below 200 meshes/inch (1 inch = 0.0254 m).
- 50-60g/square meters inking quantity on printed material will lead to relatively ideal color and light resistance.
- In case of transparent printed material, we should print write ink for one time before using the fluorescent ink, to improve the fluorescent effect.
